Food Pantry Specialist:

Position Summary: 

This position is responsible for serving eligible Emergency Food Pantry clients by securing and distributing perishable and nonperishable food according to established procedures. The Food Pantry Specialist is responsible for the coordination and distribution of food to clients on the days of distribution.  The ideal candidate must enjoy working with people and helping others, especially people from diverse backgrounds, and when English is not their primary language.  The person greets clients, check IDs, and dispenses carts of food.  The ideal candidate must also always wear a face mask and gloves while being able to maintain confidentiality and must be able to lift and pull 20lbs at a time.   

Part Time: (Temporary Position) Tuesday and Wednesday 8:30am – 4:30pm 

Medical Assistant:

Position Summary:  The MA will receive the patients in a professional manner. Take vital signs, height and weight on patients. Per doctor’s request and under his/her supervision; takes EKG’s, performs diagnostic tests. Assist the physician with patient exams, treatment and minor surgery. Assist in the collection of specimens (PAP smears, throat cultures).  Work requires advanced communication and organizational skills in order to work effectively.

Candidate must be a graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant Education Program. Bilingual English/ Spanish and/or English/Haitian Creole are highly desirable. 

Medical Physician:  

Position Summary:  The Family physicians provides medical care for patients of all age groups including infants, children, teenagers and seniors. Diagnose and treat a wide range of ailments in general practice. In collaboration with other healthcare professionals, the family physician treats a variety of illnesses, ranging from the common problems such as injuries, infections and immunization to diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol. The ability to perform both pediatric and adult primary care is a requirement. MD level providers are expected to support/supervise mid-level (NP/PA providers). M.D. Degree required, and must have completed a three year residency in Family Medicine.  Must be Board-eligible or Board certified in either both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics or Family Medicine.  Must have current BLS certification, ACLS and PALS certified desirable but not required.  Must also have current DEA and MA licenses.  

Registered Nurse:  

Position Summary:  The RN will manage patient flow in the Family Medicine clinical area. Triage walk-in patients and phone calls.  Assist providers in examinations, treatments, and surgical procedures as authorized. Provide optimal nursing care to patients according to nursing process.  Administer medications as prescribed by providers per policy.  Supervise MA’s and LPNs in the Family Medicine Clinic. Bi-lingual English/Spanish or English/Haitian Creole most desirable.  Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, college, or university.  Associate Degree minimum with 1-2 years of acute care experience.  BSN preferred.  Un-impeded current license to practice in Massachusetts as a registered nurse.
