BOSTON —

More than 2 million rapid antigen COVID-19 tests will soon be in the hands of Massachusetts residents, the Baker administration said Monday.

The tests will be given to the 351 cities and towns and local officials will determine how they will be distributed.

In the last six months, nearly 30 million rapid antigen tests have been provided to Massachusetts residents, municipalities and a broad range of educational, health, human services and other organizations.

The tests will be distributed on a rolling basis over the next two weeks. For a list of the municipalities, click here.

More than 84% of eligible Massachusetts residents are fully vaccinated and more than half of adults are boosted.
