As we kick off the holiday week, Boston still finds itself in the grip of frigid air under the influence of Arctic high pressure. But snowfall is expected in the region as the week unfolds.
Here is what’s in store for the holidays:
Monday
It’s not quite as cold as Sunday, and there won’t be much wind Monday, which does make a difference this time of year.
Expect highs in the 20s with lots of sun. Some lingering ocean-effect snow showers on Cape Cod will bring a scattered dusting, with as much as an inch or 2 in spots.
