Celebratory News for HSNHC

Its official, Harvard Street Neighborhood Health Center (HSNHC) is now recognized as a "330" health center!!! We received the great news in August from Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), an agency of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, that we have been granted New Access Point funding.

What does this mean for HSNHC, you ask? Well, for one, we can apply for federal grants and accept federal funding. This new change will give HSNHC access to a plethora of resources which will allow us to better serve our patients and our communities. Secondly, we will be able to serve more patients; design and execute additional programs that promote the health of our community; and offer robust health education activities relating to prevention, wellness and chronic disease management. Being a recipient of New Access Point funding, will further prove our ability to continue mission of being a primary health resource through the delivery of comprehensive patient-centered medical care without regard to race, sex, color, political philosophy, religious beliefs or one’s ability to pay.

HSNHC is looking forward to the exciting journey that this major accomplishment has to offer. A big thank you to all our staff, board members, supporters and patients; we couldn't have reached this great achievement without you.
